Welcome to College of the Sequoias Veterans Resource Center 

The Veterans Resource Center is committed to assisting student veterans in their transition to college by providing services that address their academic, social and physical needs as well as supporting retention and student success. In addition the VRC is committed to assisting active duty personnel and dependents​ in reaching their educational goals. All veteran students are urged to contact the veterans resource center to take advantage of the guidance and services available. Current Services :  
  • Personalized Educational Counseling
  • Assist students with applying for VA Education benefits
  • Certify Enrollment for VA Education benefits
  • Assist students with work-study placement
  • Fee Deferments for Chapter 31 and 33 students
  • Open Door Policy
  • Request Military Transcripts and DD 214 for students
  • Process Cal Dependent Fee Waivers for Dependents
  • Process MYCAA and TA
  • Prior Credit Evaluation
  • Keep students updated on Veteran related issues via email
  • Priority registration for students who have separated from the military within the last 15 years – Must provide DD 214
 *College of the Sequoias is an approved educational institution by the Department of Veterans Affairs, under Title 38, United States Code.
